Dancing down the stairs!

I titled this post "Dancing down the stairs" for a couple of reasons.

First, I'm able to go up and down the stairs much easier than I was, in fact, I just came down the stairs from my sewing studio without a hitch!  Currently my arthritis has eased up a bit and with the addition of an acetaminophen tablet and an ibuprofen tablet twice a day I'm not hurting nearly as much.  How nice it is to feel better.

Secondly, I finished up my current flimsy.  I have spent so much time on this quilt.  I had never made half-square triangles, so I decided to use up some 6 inch blocks that had been given to me.  Well, I didn't have enough of the initial fabric, so I purchased some complimentary fabrics.  Then, I wasn't happy with one of the fabrics I purchased, so I left it out (of course, the decision was made AFTER I made 15 blocks!!).  I'm very pleased with the flimsy and will be making my sandwich soon and finishing it.

P.S.  That's Rick behind the flimsy...he said "I don't want in the picture!".

  1. Helen I'm so glad to hear your arthritis is being managed a little better. Mine seems to take it by spells. One day it's awful and the next day it's better. I love your quilt - the colors are wonderful. blessings, marlene
