Happy St. Patrick's Day to you!

A heartfelt Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you!  I am told it's also National Quilters' Day, so I think I'll treat myself to a little time for doing just that.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Pink Grannies, the flimsy

This flimsy is complete and until a better name is chosen, she shall be called "Pink Grannies".

I have plans to make a couple more of these...I have shades of blue and shades of green that I believe would be pretty, too.

Rick is behind this quilt (I'm sure he is smiling!) while I snapped the photo.

Tomorrow, bright and early, I'm heading to my older daughter's house to help her family this week.  So, there won't be any more sewing for a few days!

Grannies on a fun Friday

I got a little time to do some sewing today, finished my 12 pink granny squares for the newest quilt I'm working on.

These will become a baby-size/lap-size quilt.  Sashings will be white...not sure what else is going to go into it, but I'll just have to see.

Looking forward to the weekend and maybe a little more sewing.
