Eyes

Tomorrow I am scheduled for surgery to remove the first of my cataracts.  I know these facts:

1.  Nearly everyone gets cataracts

2.  Cataract surgery is a common occurrence

3.  I have a very good surgeon

4.  If you live long enough, you will most likely need this procedure

5.  It's really no big deal

Now, since I know these things, it should be a breeze.  Right?  Well, it SHOULD be, but I'm more than a little nervous about it.  I'm not frantic, but I'm on edge.

Tomorrow morning I will be at the surgery center at 7:30, scheduled for 9:30 surgery.

I think I shall have a glass or two of wine this evening and hope for a sound night's sleep.
