How terribly sad that Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is on fire. It was built in 1163 and it's a horrible fire. I looked up what time it started and it was 5:50 pm Paris time. It's now 10:48 pm and it's still raging.
I came home from pickleball and while I was putting my things away in the kitchen, I could tell something was wrong in the world. The voices on the television sounded like devastation -- it reminded me of how television sounded (without seeing a picture) when the Boston Marathon had the bombs and even 9/11 in New York.
I am so sad and I have no words to express my sorrow. My prayers for those fighting this fire and for the people of Paris.
